Founded in 1972, the Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society (ROARS) is the national organization dedicated to the advancement of amateur radio in the Sultanate of Oman. Under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, ROARS has grown into a vibrant community of licensed operators who bridge distances, foster international goodwill, and serve the nation through emergency communications.
