Our Heritage and Mission
The Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society was established on 23 December 1972 by order from His Majesty Late Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, A41AA, and then in the year 1993 Royal Decree No: 2/93 was issued to mark the Society as a legal establishment and of public interest.The Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society has been a pillar of Oman’s amateur radio community, dedicated to preserving our rich heritage while embracing modern technology to connect enthusiasts worldwide.

To advance the art and science of amateur radio communication in Oman by providing education, training, and resources to amateur radio operators. We strive to serve the public through emergency communications, promote international goodwill, and foster technical innovation in radio communications.
